40 Days of Purpose News

March 5, 2006

How was your first week of purpose-driven living?

Hopefully you now have a new verse of scripture locked away in your mind, and you have enjoyed focusing on the big question, "What on earth am I here for?" through your daily readings in The Purpose Driven Life.

Next week we will learn about the second purpose, Fellowship.

We were formed to be a part of God's family, and if you are connecting with other people in a 40 Days of Purpose Grace Gathering or Sunday School Class, you are experiencing some great Fellowship! It's not too late to join one of these Campaign Gatherings, so see the bulletin insert listing all the groups that started last week and call the host of the group of your choice.

This Week's Prayer Focus

"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off' to a solitary place, where he prayed. " Mark 1:35 (niv) Pray that the men, women, and children of our church will more completely understand that they were created for God's pleasure. Specifically ask that they will have a joyful heart of worship and become best friends with the Lord. Next Week You Were Formed for God's Family
