Adopt a Front-Line Worker
The Voice of the Martyrs is currently partnering with more than
30,000 workers on the front lines of hostile and restricted nations
worldwide. These men and women - ranging in age from their 20S
to their 80S - work diligently to advance God's kingdom. In some of
the countries where they work, the consequences of being
discovered are severe. But they persevere in service to God, even
bringing their persecutors to Christ. They ask for our prayers and
are worthy of our support.
Now you can "adopt" one of these workers, committing to pray for
him or her every day.
When you sign up to adopt one ofVOM's front-line workers, you are
committing to pray faithfully for that worker for a period of one
year. After your year is complete, you will have the option of
adopting another front-line worker for whom you can pray. The
one-year terms allow participants the opportunity to pray for many
workers in different countries.
The Voice of the Martyrs also invites you to make a monthly
recurring gift to help equip these front-line workers with the tools
they need to advance the kingdom. These tools include Bibles and
Christian literature for training and distribution as well as bicycles,
motorcycles and even horses for transportation.
Every situation is unique, and we partner with our front-line
workers in any way we can to help them bring Christ's love to those
in hostile and restricted nations.
Ten Ways to Prayfor Your
Front-Line Worker
1. Pray that the Lord provides opportunities for your worker to
share the gospel.
2. Pray that the Lord prepares the hearts of those who will hear
the gospel.
3. Ask for favor among those to whom your worker is
ministering.
4. Ask that ministry activities will remain unseen by potential
persecutors.
5. Pray that your worker will be refreshed and strengthened in
God's Word daily.
6. Pray for peace in your worker's heart when traveling to
especially difficult areas.
7. Pray for boldness and courage as your worker carries out
kingdom work.
8. Pray for your worker's family members, as they often face
long periods of separation.
9. Pray that your worker will be encouraged, knowing that you
are praying for him or her.
10. Pray that your worker will have a real sense of the presence
of God.

Foxy Ladies
The Foxy Ladies are some of the sweetest ladies in
our congregation. They meet monthly on the 4th
Monday for lunch {usually at Bob Evan's} and then get
down to the business of cards; greeting that is. These
ladies send out hundreds of greeting cards every year
just to lift someone's spirits. They send to those in our
community that serve in the armed forces, those who
are sick, or those who are grieving a loss. Their cards
will bring a smile to your face through the mail just the
same as a greeting from one of them in person.

How does it work?

We shall not seek to understand in order that
we may believe, but to believe in order that we
may understand. Hence, we shall not seek for proof
that God is wise. The unbelieving mind would not
be convinced by any proof, and the worshiping heart
needs none. -A. W. Tozer |
