Joy Jones in Concert
Sunday, May 18 9:30 a.m. Worship Service

cover photo: Corbin Digital Stock
At age four Joy began singing with her family, traveling in the U.S. and several other countries in a ministry of evangelistic singing and preaching. In 1996 she joined New Journey as a featured vocalist Joy has performed with the Gaithers, on TEN and Daystar TV Net-works. In 1999 she was voted "Favorite Soprano of the Year" by the Kentucky Gospel Music Association.
In 2000, Joy sensed God's call to leave the comfort of the group to launch her solo ministry. As she followed God's call, she experienced great healing from fear and anxiety. Her own transformational experience has gifted her to identify with others. Her testimony of how God has taught her to work through such dilemmas rather than removing them has been used of God to bring much needed release to others with similar difficulties.
Joy is married to Tucker who doubles as her agent. Their two teenage sons, Derek & Ryan -the Jones Boys .blessed with their own vocal gifts, offer great harmonies that touch the hearts of their audiences.
Christ UMC is pleased to host Joy and her family in concert. While there is no admission cost, a love offering will be received.
